I love being a part of my clients lives after the wedding! Sakeithia and Perrin have made me feel especially welcome in their lives and I’m thrilled to be able to capture the start of a whole new chapter!
Another great joy I have is when families come back to me year after year and I get to see their little ones growing up. I especially enjoy this family because not only are they “Italian” but their little boy is just a few weeks younger than my daughter so mom and I get to compare notes each time! 
Some of you might remember their portrait from a few years back hanging in my studio…
In any case, I was very impressed that they were able to get up and moving with a toddler to meet by 7 AM for this shoot! It was the only way to get Dad in some of the pictures…
I do so enjoy engagement portrait session - it gives me a chance to work together with my clients before their big day, get to know them a little better and create cool images like these!
I couldn’t decide whether I liked this one better in BW or color - what do you think?

I’ve been photographing this family since their daughter was 2 years old! Now they have the most adorable little boy who is the spitting image of his Dad (who couldn’t be there today)! I also got lucky with a gorgeous afternoon for our outdoor shoot - can’t get better than that!
If you’re getting married this fall and want to have an engagement session, you need to schedule your engagement session ASAP (if you have not already done so). I’m starting to get the fall portrait rush and my calender is QUICKLY getting filled. I would hate for someone not to have pictures or a guest sign in book!!
Bridget and Tim are getting married this weekend and we did their session in August - thats cutting it a bit close but it all worked out!

Location sessions can be challenging especially if the weather doesn’t cooperate as was the case in this session. But, rescheduling was just not an option for this family so they bravely faced a fog the likes of which I have never seen! (please note, no grand sweeping beach views were possible here!)

I got lucky and was able to squeeze in just a mini session with Tony and his family this morning before they had to go to church and I had to get on a plane! We actually got some great stuff but this is definitely one of my top picks! (subject, as always, to change!)
